Position Overview


We are looking for a motivated Account Executive to lead the expansion of MangoBoost’s DPU solutions in the market. This role will be pivotal in driving revenue, building strategic partnerships, and growing our presence in North and South America. The Account Executive will work closely with key clients in cloud infrastructure, AI, and storage sectors, leveraging MangoBoost's innovative product line to address market needs and industry challenges.



Key Responsibilities


1. Sales Strategy and Execution

  • Develop Sales Strategy: Design and implement a sales strategy tailored to the DPU market, targeting key sectors, including AI, cloud infrastructure, and data storage.
  • Product Knowledge: Demonstrate deep understanding of MangoBoost’s product offerings, such as Mango StorageBoost™ NVMe/TCP Initiator (NTI)NVMe/TCP Target (NTT), and GPU Storage Boost (GSB), and communicate product benefits effectively to customers.
  • Market Analysis: Continuously assess market trends, competitive activity, and client needs to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.


2. Client and Partner Relationships

  • Relationship Development: Build and maintain strong relationships with major cloud providers, AI companies, and data centers, understanding their unique needs and positioning MangoBoost’s DPUs as solutions to their challenges.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue strategic partnerships that expand MangoBoost’s footprint across the Americas.
  • Contract Negotiation: Lead high-value deal negotiations, ensuring agreements align with MangoBoost’s business objectives.


3. Sales Operations and Reporting

  • Pipeline Management: Oversee sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting of revenue targets.
  • Sales Technology Utilization: Use CRM tools and sales technology to track performance, streamline processes, and provide data-driven insights to senior management.
  • Performance Metrics: Prepare and present regular sales reports, tracking performance against key targets.


4. Market Analysis and Expansion

  • Regional Market Research: Conduct ongoing market research to stay updated on industry developments, customer trends, and regulatory requirements.
  • Expansion Strategy: Develop and implement strategies for penetrating under-served and emerging markets, with a focus on maximizing MangoBoost’s market reach in the Americas.


5. Collaboration with Internal Teams

  • Cross-Department Coordination: Work with product, engineering, and marketing teams to align sales initiatives with company objectives and product launches.
  • Customer Feedback: Relay client insights and market feedback to product teams, contributing to the development of products that meet market demands.
  • Campaign Collaboration: Partner with marketing to drive targeted campaigns, customer engagement initiatives, and product awareness.


6. Budget and Resource Management

  • Budget Oversight: Manage the sales budget, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently to maximize sales effectiveness.
  • Cost Control: Monitor sales expenditures, maintaining alignment with budgetary goals.
  • Resource Optimization: Ensure effective use of resources to achieve sales targets and improve ROI.



Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Experience: 7+ years in sales within the cloud infrastructure, networking, or data storage industry, with a strong track record in meeting revenue goals.
  • Technical Proficiency: Understanding of DPUs, NVMe storage, AI workloads, and networking technologies is essential.
  • Relationship Building: Demonstrated ability to build and sustain relationships with key decision-makers in data-intensive industries.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong market analysis and strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Location: Preferred location is the San Jose area, with flexibility for travel as needed.



Compensation

The total target compensation for this position is between $150,000 and $200,000 annually. This includes base salary and commissions. The specific compensation offered will depend on the candidate's qualifications, experience, and skills, in alignment with our company's compensation structure.
