Position Overview
MangoBoost is seeking a Network Engineer (HPC & Infrastructure Operations) to support the stable operation of AI data center and HPC infrastructure and to build high-performance networking environments.
This role is responsible for a wide range of infrastructure operations, including network equipment and asset lifecycle management, hardware parts and inventory operations, data center infrastructure management, Zero Trust-based security network operations, and high-performance network optimization in HPC environments. The position plays a critical role in ensuring both stability and performance across MangoBoost’s global AI infrastructure.
Working closely with engineering, infrastructure, and operations teams, this role will contribute to building and scaling MangoBoost’s next-generation AI data center operational framework and establishing a reliable and efficient HPC networking foundation.
Responsibilities & Opportunities
- Manage lifecycle and inventory of network equipment including switches, routers, and security devices
- Maintain stock and handle RMA for 400G/100G optical modules (QSFP-DD, QSFP28), DAC/AOC cables, and other consumable hardware parts
- Operate and optimize data center infrastructure including rack mounting, structured cabling, and power/space planning
- Implement Zero Trust access control policies and maintain firewall and VPN system availability
- Monitor high-speed network interfaces and optimize L1 traffic performance in HPC cluster environments
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with network equipment installation and troubleshooting in large-scale IDC or data center environments
- Strong understanding of fiber types (OS2, OM4), connectors (LC, MPO), and optical module specifications, with solid problem-solving skills
- Experience working with hardware vendors and maintenance partners, including leading RMA processes and technical coordination
- Knowledge of L2/L3 switching protocols and firewall policy configuration
- 3–7 years of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using OTDR, optical power meters, or similar tools for fiber quality measurement and analysis
- Experience with power, cooling, and PDU configuration in 400G-based HPC environments
- Experience using Python or APIs to automate asset and equipment management (e.g., serial numbers, parts information, warranty tracking)
- Experience managing large-scale network equipment and hardware inventory
