Position Overview
We are looking for a Cost Accounting Manager to join our Finance Team. This role is responsible for establishing and operating cost accounting systems aligned with product manufacturing and mass production schedules, managing raw materials, WIP (work-in-process), and finished goods inventory, and overseeing inventory audits. By working closely with Purchasing, Production, SCM, and FP&A teams, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy of COGS, improving profit visibility, and enhancing inventory accuracy and turnover efficiency.
Responsibilities & Opportunities
Cost System Development & Operation
- Establish and maintain standard cost structures; manage BOM and routing consistency.
- Design allocation bases for manufacturing overhead, analyze variances between standard and actual costs, and report improvement plans to management.
Monthly/Quarterly Closing & Financial Reporting
- Prepare manufacturing cost statements and evaluate WIP, finished goods, and semi-finished goods.
- Conduct loss, scrap, and NRV tests; set inventory reserves; and calculate COGS.
Inventory Management & Audits
- Design and manage systems to efficiently operate the full cycle from raw material purchase to product sales.
- Conduct full inventory counts at least annually, including domestic and overseas 3PL/EMS/CM locations.
SCM Operations Support & Partnership Management
- Collaborate with procurement, production, quality, and logistics teams to drive efficient SCM operations and cost reduction.
- Analyze the impact of supply chain-related costs (tariffs, VAT, freight) and design allocation methodologies.
- Develop inventory operation plans (safety stock, MOQ, lead time) with financial impact considerations, and report to management.
Internal Controls & External Audit for Inventory/Cost
- Support the design and operation of internal controls (SOX/Internal Accounting Control System).
- Standardize processes and documentation to support external audit
requests.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in cost and inventory accounting in manufacturing/mass production at large enterprises or global companies (preferred in electronics, semiconductors, equipment, or machinery).
- Hands-on experience in standard cost design, inventory audits, international logistics cost allocation, and multi-country supply chain operations (collaboration with overseas EMS/CM/3PL).
- Strong background in month-end inventory closing, standard vs. actual cost management, and full-cycle purchasing-inventory-sales operations.
- Proficiency in at least one ERP system (SAP, Oracle, Duzon, QuickBooks); advanced Excel and data analysis skills preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Cost accounting experience in semiconductor, electronics, or server/network hardware component/module manufacturing.
- CMA/CPA certification or understanding of US GAAP.
- Experience in designing and operating internal controls (SOX/Internal Accounting Control System).
- Proficiency in business English for emails, meetings, and reporting materials.
- Knowledge of tariffs, Incoterms, freight cost allocation, and transfer pricing.

Notice Regarding Return of Hiring Documents
