Position Overview

MangoBoost is actively seeking skilled IP design engineers to join our Seoul office in Korea for SoC (System-on-Chip) development. The role involves a wide range of responsibilities, including establishing and enhancing the IP design flow, designing hardware accelerator IPs, optimizing performance/power/area, integrating cutting-edge processors/interconnects/high-speed interface IPs, all aimed at producing high-value DPU SoC products.


Responsibilities & Opportunities

  • Establish IP design flow for efficient development of in-house IPs based for FPGA and ASIC
  • Design MangoBoost DPU IPs that incorporates all required functionalities while meeting performance, power, and area requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IP Verification, Software, Architecture, SoC, etc.) for commercial-grade verification and seamless integration
  • Contribute to the development of ARM processor subsystems, bus interconnects, and clock/power management units to enhance overall SoC performance
  • Build FPGA prototyping systems for the validation of ASIC designs
  • Engage in continuous learning and professional development to stay updated with emerging design methodologies and industry trends
  • Opportunity to acquire state-of-the-art domain knowledge for the underlying technologies of DPU functionalities


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor, Master, or PhD in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, with 3+ year industry experience)
  • Proficiency in Verilog RTL design for moderately large-scale IPs, along with simulation-based verification expertiseA comprehensive understanding of SoC IP development flows (e.g., design rule check, low power design, logic synthesis, IP integration) or FPGA-based design flows (e.g., logic synthesis and P&R with Vivado or Quartus, timing optimization, and FPGA IP integration)


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in designing IPs with AMBA interfaces
  • Experience with System C or C++ designs for high-level synthesis
  • Experience in designing ARM processor subsystems and bus interconnects
  • Experience in designing clock management units or power management units
  • Experience in writing logic synthesis constraints for multi-clock designs
  • Experience in leading physical design engineers to achieve timing closure
  • Experience in commercial FPGA prototyping solutions (e.g., Synopsys HAPS)
  • Experience in emulation solutions (e.g., Zebu/Palladium/Veloce)
